Method vs. Pro Comp wheels
Anybody have insight or opinions on Method wheels vs. Pro Comp wheels? I'm looking at 2 really similar wheel styles and was wondering if anybody had any experience or insight on the two companies. For some reason, my general impression of Pro Comp is that they're "cheaper" and their quality isn't the same as it was before.. Is this true?
Would it be worth it to spend an extra $100-200 (for a set of 4 wheels) to get the Method wheels over Pro Comp simply because Method manufactures more "quality" products? Or do most guys simply like Method more simply because of the name? I'm basing a lot of this on speculation and my general impression after reading many forum posts - it'd be great if anyone can confirm or refute my thoughts here. Thanks!

My buddy has 17" Method NV's with 35" Nitto Trail Grapplers. It looks sick! I have yet to find another wheel that looks nicer than a Method. I would have bought them myself, but I didn't want to have the same wheels my best friend and roommate have.
I used to have 18x9 Method Standards and recently switched to a set of Pro Comp Series 41's in the same size. I love the look of the Standard but after a year I wanted something different and a little more aggressive offset. The Pro Comp's offer a 0 offset in 18x9 and I bought them from 4wheelparts for $134 per wheel. Because the wheels were so cheap I was able to powder coat them a custom color and in the end only have about $50 more than what I bought the Methods for new.
Method makes nice wheels but I wouldn't hesitate buying a set of Pro Comp wheels. In my opinion they have really stepped up their wheel offerings over the last couple of years.
