Default M case fuses

I'm trouble shooting my neighbors Chevy pickup, ya, I know. I've never had to pull an "M" case fuse, how the crap do you pull those without breaking them?

Carefully with needle nose if you can't get a good grip with your fingers. If there's any room you may be able to get a small screwdriver under the edge and get it started. Those and jcase seem like they're almost designed to break trying to get them out.

They sure do seem that way! I tried the needle nose approach last night, and immediately broke off the clear plastic window. Thought I better stop and get some advice.

Try putting electrical tape around the needle nose ends,, it worked for me pulling those stupid little fuses out of Xmas lights!

I was over there tonight, popped the clear plastic window off, and jerked the fuse out with some small needle nose. Just seems like there has to be a better way./
