Can't you fit Super Duty running boards? They have the same designs, but drop much lower. They are probably the cheapest option and should fit since the cabs are the same.

I don't know if they are available for your truck, but the GoRhino Dominator D4 steps have TWO steps up into the cab.

Agreed. $53.00 but which one? Looks like about 3 production types. I’ve been watching and thinking but only realized same body on both a few weeks back.

There's a guy somewhere here that fabbed some custom brackets to make his stock steps positioned better.

+1 on the PRB, they are the perfect height for me. When I looked at a 17 F250, the running boards are too high for me, and had the same exact thought. I am going to check out a 17 Platinum F250 and see if the PRB are as low as the F150 is, which would make it ideal.

Unfortunately - they are just flat plates - and they increase flex...
