Default Lower than factory running boards

Hey all! I'm trying to either lower my factory running boards, or replace the factory with ones that are lower. I'm trying to make it easier for my father to get into my truck (he prefers riding in my truck than my wife's pathfinder.) So I'm trying to make it easier on him. My searches has returned very little options. Does anyone know if the n-fabs are lower than the factory? These are the ones im talking about:

Any help or opinions would be appreciated.

I believe the Amp research retractable ones go down further than stock if you can stomach the price.

I was thinking about doing something similar. My '06 Silverado had Westin Nerf bars that were either down lower, or came out from the side of the truck further. I don't know which one yet. I never kicked the truck when using the Westin bars, but the factory F150 bars seem closer to the body, so I'm afraid people will be kicking the paint while getting in.

the amp/factory power running boards have a significantly lower step in height than the regular running boards.

I've got the OEM retractable boards on my '18 Lariat and they're quite a bit lower than the fixed boards.

My wife has a bum knee and it makes life much easier for her getting in & out with the lower step.

I was trying to stay away from the power ones. But if Amp is the way to go, then thats what i'll have to do.

Definitely Amp, even my 82yo mom can get in and out easily and my truck is lifted 4" and sitting on 35's. They come with led lighting so when they deploy you don't step into something you don't want to.

Couple pics right after I installed them, was only leveled at the time.

Agree on Amp power steps. After owning them, I won’t have another truck without them. My short wife, 2 small kids and my parents love them. Not to mention myself. I don’t care if I had an XL truck, it would have them too. Must have.

Me too! Integrated through the truck system so I can keep them up or down or have them on auto.
Great when washing the truck too!!!
