Hey guys, I recently got an edge evolution for my truck, which is a 5.4 3v, when I got the edge hooked up, every time I pull up at a stop light and have to sit and idle in gear, it idles really low (400-500 rpms) and even shuts off sometimes. But when i get on the gas, everythings fine, any sugestions????

 

Could just be normal for the tune you have installed? Is it a mpg save/economy 87 tune? Could just be the tune trying to do its job. Weird how it shuts off though, when u press the gas after it shuts off is everything fine?

 

Does it try to shut off when ur in reverse too?

 

Mine always idles around 500 rpm once warmed up. I thought this was interesting but normal. Haven't seen anything idle that low since my old panhead Harley!
