Wat is the best way to clean a Egr valve,?

 

I'd also like to ad "what are the typical symptoms of a bad egr valve?

 

Had the code read and said it was the egr sensor or valve..... And when im at stop and punch itll accelerate fine for a sec or two then it will drop my rpms down like it if it was shutting down for like a sec then run normal... <---- happens more when its at a 1/4 of a tank. Soo idk if its the egr or my fuel pump

 

I do not think it is the egr. I would suspect something in the fuel delivery system.

 

Im thinking its the fuel pump...

 

Have you changed the fuel filter. Be the cheapest place to start and cant hurt.

 

Yes i changed the fuel filter and put a new pump but i think the fuel pump is no good?

 

We need the actual Error code #. Could be the EGR, Position sensor or EGR Regulator.

 

You need to take pressure readings off the fuel rail. May not be pump related. Could be the Fuel Pressure regulator.

 

Well i went to autozone idk if they are good or not' ill look for the code again'
