I belong to probably 15 online forums (I'm an engineer hillbilly living in a city apartment, don't judge me) I think they all have some kind of division of duty.

The admins and supermods can cover the whole site, but other lower-level mods cover a few subforums.
The small number of staff members keeps everything close and clean and tidy in the staff zone, but it also means not many are online at a time. That would leave sections of the forum uncovered if everyone else is away.

I was interested day one after I signed up. I am also a supermod on the Nissan forums and know the job pretty well. As I still own my Nissan I am still just as active their...so shall I be here. Not looking to police our society just give back. This is the 2nd F150 forum I am a member of and I honestly can say I strongly prefer this forum 2nd to none. I am retired, so time is not that much of a concern, outside wifey's to do list and kiddies at my feet. I am simply passionate about my vehicles and the discussions we have collectively about them here. I dont wanna ramble and go on and on, but as my statistics show, im quite active, know a little bit, and can converse with any group of individuals....lol this has also been proven. I enjoy the time spent here. its almost as much of an outlet as working/building my truck. (I hope I wont have to give up a run at TOTM if I am accepted.....I have plans to have a go at it. On the Nissan forum I had to give that hope up) I hope to at least be considered, nothing less, nothing more.

I can help. I moderate/admin a few forums and Facebook pages already. Used to do more before some of the paintball forums I worked on shut down. Work from home, so I am on various times during the day.

GREEN16 NOMINATES GREEN16

I can't wait to swing the banhammer around with some serious authority.

Sounds like an interesting opportunity but it might be the reason for my divorce. She says I am on forums too much as is so for the sake of my relationship and my sex life, I better not!

I would like to be considered as a moderator. This site has become my "Go-to" source for truck mods/ideas, and as such I can be found here almost nightly browsing the site. I'm also the administrator of a Facebook page for our Fire Dept.

It's quite a bit more involved than that.

When I was a Moderator on one forum we had some that would just do the sub-forums they wanted and would not look at the whole thing, parts were left with no supervision and the forum members kind of knew and took advantage of it. To me it was easier to just do the whole thing in the active topics instead of going to a sub-forum.
Also if they need a person for over night they would need to go everywhere.
Being a Moderator is a thankless job, and no I do not want to

I was a Mod on a Fusion forum. No thanks, not enough time in the day, and being a mod pretty much exempts one from participating.
