Just had mine done. 450$ for the basic black liner in a 5.5 bed. They ran a deal when I got mine for half off the premium uv coat (150$) so total was 525$. They do offer colors but my research showed people are most happy with black. Holds its color the longest from what I could tell. I love my line-x!!

Had my new FX4 done last Saturday. It ran about $450 for a 6.5' bed. I got a returning customer discount. Prices will vary some due to location because they are franchises.

Another option is to do it yourself. Al's Liner uses professional quality materials (same coating formulation as our professional Scorpion Coatings). We offer everything you need to a quality install including an easy to use spray gun (hook up to your air compressor). The job is done in four easy steps, and on average takes about four hours to do. Al's comes in black, gray and tan, or you can color match to your paint by mixing in auto paint pigment. It is just as good looking, long lasting, durable and fade resistant as professionally installed spray-in liners, and we back it with a lifetime warranty. Plus you can tell all your buddies "yep, I did it myself".

Pricing:

Al’s Liner Kit – MSRP - $133.00
Al’s Liner Air Texture Gun – MSRP - $55.00
Al’s Liner Cup Brush – MSRP - $18.36

bought my truck. third day i owned it i had tons of scrap metal and tools in the back. crap slid everywhere and scratched the bed all up. got it line x ed right after and wow that stuff is amazing. I haul scrap metal, tools, yard debris, and recently a 5ft tall dog statue in the back of my truck. The dog went 350 miles in the back of my truck without sliding around.

First ask yourself how you are planning to use the bed? I was always under the impression that a line x liner is a great spray in liner for basic use but if your really beating up your bed or shoveling gravel or something similiar you can actually damage it and the warranty will not cover that. However, if this is what you want your going to most likely be in the $450 range. I was ready to buy this but I do occasionally do haul some materials that I need durability for so I ended up spending less and installing a Duraliner one piece heavy duty drop in liner. It cost me about $170 and it even has a rubberized coating to keep your stuff from sliding all around yet it is still extremely durable. Either way whatever you choose it will look really nice and you will be happy with it so good luck and God Bless.

I dont haul much or tow anything, I'd more less use it so my work tools/toolbelt doesnt scracth the hell outta the bed as of now I have a ford rubber bed mat which works great for the bed bottom but no protection for tailgate or bedside walls...

Well if this is the case then either option will work for you and look good too. So it's really up to you on how much you want to spend?
