Leveling a 2018 F150
I just bought a 2018 F150. I want to level the front end. Is the sweet spot 2" or 2 1/2"? What are the best spacers to use What is the cost of having this done?
Thanks
Brad

Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on your 2018.
Lots of posts on leveling the F150. I personally went with 2 inches, but plenty have 2.5. Cost will entirely depend on what method you go with. A kit that just users spacers will be less expensive than a kit that changes coilovers.

First measure the back and then the front and subtract the two. This will give you what size lift you need. Then you need to decide if you want it level or with a rake. If you want level then go with the spacer you came up with. I used Rough Country 2" lift (spacer). I have a 1/8" rake to it, but you cant see it. I had the dealer put it on when I bought the truck. $ 400 and that was including the spacers, alignment, and the labor.

The easiest option is to lower the rear.

Don't go past 2" with a spacer. You'll start binding the ball joints and possibly snagging the springs on the upper control arms.

My 2018 Screw leveled within 1/4" with a MotoFab 2.5" Leveling Kit. The package costs around $50 - $60. I installed the kit in about 2.5 hours - so figure your local shop time hourly rate.
There are those that will tell you don't go past 2". I've been a part of six or seven 2017/2018 2.5" levels and we've yet to have a problem. Simply ensure you get an alignment, as the tow-in will need to be corrected.
Don't know if your level is for larger tires - I installed 285/75R18 - 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers on the stock wheels. No rubbing or problems.

Leveling with 2" spacers was my first mod, I had absolutely no issues with the stock rake and my truck drove very smooth from day one. After the spacers were installed the first thing I noticed was a slight difference in the ride, the near car like smoothness was gone, but the BIG change was when I hooked up the loaded 28 foot travel trailer. Before the spacers, the truck seems to level out on its own and the driving/towing experience was perfect. With the spacers I noticed the truck was now exhibiting a slight rear sag, I removed the spacers and now we are back to normal,or at least what is normal for me...
