Default Leveled Powerboost guys chime in!

I know this question has been beaten around before but just want to know how much peoples MPG are being affected by level and tires. I’m not a huge fan of the F150s stock stance and want to level it out with a 2in RC leveling and throw on 275/65 size tires (probably a minimally aggressive all terrain, lighter-weight tire) omegle xender .

With my current powerboost, I’m getting nearly 27mpg which is a mix of 55 speed limit road and in town driving. Which I believe is the sweet spots for these engines.

What are all you powerboost drivers who installed a leveling kit getting for MPG? Any info helps!

I'm assuming it'll be a negligible hit to your MPGs which is what non-Powerboost guys are seeing.

You'll lose about 3 to 4 MPG, probably even more, if you go to a heavier tire (most ATs are heavier than the stock tires). A lot of guys have also taken out the rear blocks to level the truck.

Don't know what size tires you are replacing, but a 275/65/18, is an OEM size, 32". May look a little on the smaller side with a 2" level.
In order to get a better handle on your mpg's, you'll need to recalibrate your speedo. You may be surprised at the minimal difference in mpg depending on just how much taller your new tires are.
Forscan can be used to recalibrate, or, if you're tuned, many tuners can adjust the tire size as well.

3-4 MPGs from just a level?

I'm leveled with 35s and only saw a drop of 1-2 MPG.

Yes, a powerboost loses the most because when you level and add tires, especially AT tires, it kills the electric miles. If he's getting 27 now that means he's driving the absolute perfect commute for a powerboost and using the EV portion great.

Not arguing, but how does that kill the electric miles?

It's only a 47HP electric motor. It doesn't take much extra rotational weight and wind resistance to cut into it's ability to propel the truck.
