Is it possible to get a cloud tune from 5* that i could download to this???
Also you'll want a custom tune anyways, they are far superior compared to the canned tunes for the device.

Give 5 star a call, ask for Josh

Any tune you can order is a file ( canned ) tune, custom tuning is done with your truck @ the shop, tuning done on the street !!

Canned tune is one that comes with a tuner. Fairly useless. Email tunes can be generic but 5 star will custom tweek it if you happen to have an 150 that doesn't fly with the rest the flock. Every litter has a runt

Default BDX Bullydog Return

So I had purchased the above tuner about a week ago and while installing it, come to find out that they do not support the 2018 2.7L's quite yet. MY rep told me that it would take about a month...

I have since returned it and got my money back, and I am about 90% sure that I will be going with the BDX 5* option.

Just an update!

I was under the impression the Nguage was strictly for monitoring? Can I just use the NGuage to load tune and then put away???

Just like any device you can just load the tune and put it away. The ngauge just has more perimeters (at this point) so the tuners are able to take advantage of that. Also, I'm not sure about the bdx but the ngauge is extremely easy to datalog with.
But yes, you can just load your tune and throw it in the glove box.

X2, load the tune, set your tire size if needed, and leave it in the house if you want to
