This CHEVY guy came on here to inquire about a truck that beat him like it owed him money and to offer props to the owner and some of y'all jumped down his throat with both feet for some minor details that really had nothing to do with the actual point of his post. I must say... I thought we here at f150forums had alot more integrity and intellect then to stoop to the Honda Civic crowd level.

To the OP: Props to you for keeping your cool and giving everything that some of these clowns (you know who you are) asked for- less pics, when they tried to turn this into a dick measuring contest. You clearly are a much more patient man than I since I would have told them where to go and how to get there shortly after the start of this whole ordeal.
with a story like that whooper, what would you exspect, and then no facts to back up the story. kinda makes people think. well some people anyways. and i didnt see any bashing going on. just alot of keyboard racing. talking smack is all part of forums.

Hey man... Being reletively new here, maybe you have not caught on to how this forum likes to operate. Take a look around and you will only find a select few threads that get people's feathers ruffled. Also if you look, you will see that those threads were started by people that affectionately call themselves crap like "FordSucks" and "Chevy4life". Kinda self explanitory what those threads could be about, huh? This kind of banter would be expected in a thread like that.

In the case of this particular thread, the point was to offer props to someone that he found as respectable and you and a few select others decided to jump on a few minute details and then decided to "pull them out and see who's is bigger". Had he not mentioned what he was driving or what was done to it, how would you have reacted? I ask that since those details have nothing to do with the reason for the thread.

I do not have much exposure to you but if this kind of attitude is something that you will consistantly bring to the table, you can feel free to find a new place to dwell. Not to say that you were the only source of negativity, but we obviously try to operate differently on f150forums than other forum sources that you are a part of (and that I am a part of, wich is why I no longer own an F150 but still frequent this site). We like to think we are grown up adults here.

SIDE NOTE- I am recomending that this thread be closed before it gets any more out of hand or off topic. Sorry Mike2.

To the OP; I hope you find that truck. I respect that you kept a level head in such a negative atmosphere. I do feel your grief with the transmission. I have replaced/rebuilt 6 transmissions and at least double the number of clutches. That 100 shot must be a nice kick in the pants. Have you looked into the ZF transmission that Chevy is now using? If you plan on keeping the 3500 check out Hurst for a short throw shifter. http://www.hurst-shifters.com/hurst-...LUS-SHIFTER_22

Killed by F150 or your Chevy or whatever truck would be correct. I only hope it is not me or one of my children that your street racing kills. Grow up!

Then why is it illegal? Would you feel differently if someone in your family was killed by it?
