It’s not a tuner, it goes inline on the connector attached to the gas pedal. Can be removed in 30 seconds. It does not flash the PCM like a tuner and therefore doesn’t reset any counters, etc. There is no way that I’m aware of for a dealer to detect it like a tuner. If anything, it would look like you have a lead foot all the time.

Except for the zip tied cables, the double stickied tape clip, and of course the unit itself. Makes it pretty obvious you are doing something out of the norm. Unless you remove it every time you take the truck in for service of course.

I have no zip ties holding mine in and have not had any cabling issues in the year I’ve had mine installed. I used Velcro for the caddy instead of the supplied sticky tape so yes, the entire unit can come out in 30 seconds. If a dealer has time to question the tiny patch of Velcro on my dash, I’ll find a new dealer. I also have to wonder why someone would be taking their truck in for service so much that it would become a chore to remove it? 30 seconds once a month (if that) doesn’t seem too bad to me.

Good luck, for some time I have read here on this forum that Ford cannot tell a tuned vehicle has returned to factory prior to coming in for repairs.

A recent article post on this forum is a document that Ford issues to mechanics to look for, for some warranty claims, which will void their warranty claim..

Nope. Its does not set any ecm codes, in fact the ecm has no idea you are using it,. It takes 2 minutes to disconnect of just shut it off when you take it in

Good luck as stated here: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/warranty-void-403282/

Its only a matter of time, if not already that they can see Forscan changes and this pedal thing, which surely has some resistor and electrical impact.

Have fun!

The Pedal Commander is an adjustable-rate rheostat, little more. Whatever floats your boat! I cannot argue with anyone who wishes to modify/enhance/improve their vee-hickularz. I simply can't.

Not really looking for tire spin or loss of drivability. Just a little more “snap” off the line. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Just tip into the gas a little quicker and a little deeper! BINGO! You just saved almost $300...

I think it's called a potentiometer... either way, have fun. Looking forward to your road test report.

I think you are missing completely, for whatever reason, what I am saying.

Again, good luck to you!
