Default I need advice, truck is at the dealer for 2 months

I have a 2017 F150, I’m the original owner and my truck has been at Ford going on two months now. It had an electrical issue and a PCM issue. Parts were on back order for over a month. As of today, the dealer says all parts are installed, but the tech is having issues programming the new PCM. The truck is covered under Ford Protect and the original power train warranty. If this goes past 2 months in the shop, would I have any grounds for trying to get a replacement truck from Ford?

Don’t get into a wreck then.

I was talking to a guy at the body shop in March and he told me they were booked up until June.

just curious, does the warranty cover you for a loaner/rental?

youd have to check lemon laws in your state but Id imagine they all stop after the original 3/36 warranty. I wouldnt be surprised if there are things in there about "acts of god" etc... which would they claim Covid parts delays

I did add rental coverage, but it only covers up to 10 days per repair.

Who said anything about getting into a wreck!? My truck just stopped cranking over and turned out to be an electrical issue and PCM issue. I still don’t have my truck back because the tech is supposedly having issues getting the new PCM programmed.
