So bought an Emblem it arrived successfully took apart and painted, Then I baked it @180 for like 5 min and it melted horribly. Next attempt I think I'll skip the oven lol

Preheat the oven to 180, turn it off, then insert your pieces. Sorry, should have clarified that!

Did you hit them with a clear coat at all, or is that not necessary? Might not hurt? This thread being bumped up has me wanting to complete the look with some black and gold ovals. Not sure when I'd get to it, but your write up is definitely inspiring!

I did clear on my second set, not the first. No real major difference after polishing. Also note, almost no rattle can clear has enough uv inhibitors to make a difference.

I switched them out for overlays so can't answer that.

Anyone know the sizes for the emblems on the 2012?

Do I need a 7", 9" 9.5", or 13"?
I cannot find the answer through the search function.
