i have a 2000 f150 extended cab now on the back doors they have a lil compartment that goes acros the bottom of the door there pretty dirty but i dont know how to take them off to clean them they look like they snap off but not for me any one really no how to take them off

I'm pretty sure you need to take to door panel off. I'll look when I get home for the instructions I got from Crutchfield on how to remove them.

Don't you think i tried that its pretty hard for me i got a big hand and all the junk is at the bottom

I looked but didn't find it. I know it's in this mess I call home somewhere

I can remember a little though. First you have to pull straight out on the plastic trim that is above the door panel, next to the window. It a separate piece from the panel. Then I believe there is one screw under it at the top of the panel. I believe there are two more on the bottom of the panel as well. There is at least a bolt (10mm) or a screw that also need to be removed in the center of the panel hidden. If you take a picture of the door panel I think I will remember. It's either under the inner door handle latch or the arm rest. A piece on or around them pops off to access it. After all are remove you just need to grab the panel with both hands and lift straight up then out.
