Default Help with key in ignition

Hello, I have a 2019 Ford F150, 2.7 ecoboost engine. My wife accidentally bent our truck key and then she forced it into the ignition. We are no longer able to remove the key, we’ve tried a few different things, but I believe that the key isn’t turning far enough “off” to be able to pull it out. Does anybody have any suggestions? If worst case scenario I have to call to have ignition / key fixed, does anybody know about how much that would cost? I appreciate any help!

It’s likely that the cylinder got damaged inserting the key.
when i was first driving this happened to me in my dads 74 maverick.
The key wouldn’t remove- had to replace the cylinder and get new keys.

I would get on the passengers seat grab it and pull it out of the ignition. It's probably just twisted by bit. Chances are if you get it out a different key will work. Or You could remove the key and cylinder and take it to a locksmith for repaired.

I had a similar problem years ago on a Tbird. Took it to a locksmith, he fixed it all for not alot of money. The expensive part of a locksmith is getting them to you house.
