Default Help Finding A Connector

I have changed out the HU in the dash to a 6 CD/Satellite Audiophile. I found the plug and harness that plugs into the back of the Head Unit but I can't find the other end under the back seat of my new Super Crew for the subwoofer.

Will someone give me some ideas on how to look for this wire harness and plug?

A wiring harness for what?? What are you looking for behind the seat?? Your new 6cd changer should have the wiring harness that you need.

Sorry for not being more clear with my message.

I am looking for the plug that plugs into the subwoofer. I thought if there is a plug that goes to the receptical on the back of the head unit, then there should be the other end of it that plugs into the subwoofer.

Just follow the wires. If it doesn't have a plug on the other end, then you'll need to go to a stero installation shop. They problably have one and would be willing to just give it to you.

On the other hand, they probably go for a few bucks and they're probably tired of giving away their plugs. I have people asking to "borrow" these little knife edge connectors all the time. They go for $4.50 a piece and I never get paid back. So I would understand if they want to charge you a few buck for the plug. Otherwise you'll have to go to the manufacture.

The 2 connector with leads needed to make a wire harnes from scratch cost $54.00. THe kits come with splicers and shrink tubing.

I guess they want you to feel like you got your moneys worth.

I used to have a blaupunkt 10 or 12 disk changer hooked up to a blaupunkt radio. The changer just hooked up to my radio, from my radio I used the coaxle outputs and used coaxle cables to an amp, from the amp I ran big sub wires. I just think your missing an amp. What are your subs hooked up to now, how many, what size are they, and are you going for bass, trebble or both?

The sub is a factory F150 subwoofer that connects to the in dash head unit with 3 wires, a fulltime hot wire and a ground. I think it has a 10" speaker and it's all bass.
