HELP/CLARIFICATION: 4" RC Lift / Tire and Wheel Size
I need some help as I've seen and heard contradicting information on this.
I have a 2019 XLT 4WD 5.0 that I bought used. It currently has the factory 20" wheels Open Country Toyos that are 35x12.50x20. The front has 2" RC coil spacers (done by the previous owner) and the factory block in the rear. I was planning to get the Rough Country 4" lift as it's a driver and I use it on easy trails periodically. I want the stance/look at this time. I believe I read that the RC 4" lift can take up to 35x12.50. I called a reputable shop that does lifts and the guy told me the RC 4" can't fit my factory wheel and 35" tires. I've seen some pictures on other threads where guys are using the 4" RC lift with 35's. So, which is it?
Can I get some input on this, please?
Thanks!

You should be able to hold 35s no problem with 4" lift.. might possibly need spacers to kick out out wheels so the don't interfere with upper control arms..
Or tell your mechanic to hire a mechanic
