Thanks for the comment.
The antique is one of my recent increase in the stable. It was my fathers car that was a basket case he brought back to life in a 28 year effort. It is a 1928 ****** Overland Whippet Cabriolet Coupe and at 87 he is going to loose his license due to his eye sight and wanted me to have this and two other of his babies.
When I bought the new Ford had to make sure it would handle (trailer) the old ones like my old Chevy did and really happy with it's performance so far. I ordered the Ford with the 3.7 and a tow package and in my neck of the woods the geography is flat, flat, flat so........ I'm watching the weights and all is good.
Have found like others the mileage (without towing) isn't quite as advertised but with only 5,000 miles read that it will be better later? Time will tell?
My first new vehicle since 1993 so..........

As to driving anything...... tried to drive a Model T once! That to me is a challenge!!

With keeping this a Ford Forum.......
After getting the '52 out this morning, got a call from a Senior that, "Needed the lawn cut today as it was going to rain Monday!" OK, decided to hook up the trailer and take care of her. It only took an hour LONGER due to talking to all the heighbours that came out to see what the OLD TRUCK was.
All and all, still a GOOD day!
