Default Heads up folks!

I don't know if anyone else has had this happen but.....

While cruising the General Discussion forum I clicked on a couple of threads and got redirected to sites my virus program blocked as containing malicious content. This was within 1-2 seconds of the thread actually appeasing.

Looks like you are browsing using a Verizon cell phone? I bet you are being redirected to ads that are meant to look like virus scan alerts. Cheap advertising on the site has caused a lot of redirecting and popups. The "higher staff" is aware and they're working on it, from what I understand.

Yes I am and thanks for the reply!
Funny thing is it's only on the General Discussion forum, wasn't happening in the '99-'03 forum.

Try using Google Chrome browser. It has better filters. You can also add "Ad Blocker" extension to highly reduce number of ads you are seeing. http://tidbits.com/article/13545?rss...ign=adam+engst
