Default Headlights

I have been trying to search posts but having no luck. I have a 2004 f150 scab.
problem is, headlight flicker. Every post i find they say lights go off then on. My issue is, while driving, the lights go bright for a second then back to normal! Like i just hit the high beams real quick. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

1) Are you running aftermarket bulbs, HID or LEDs
2) Anything else, electrical wise, giving you issues in the truck?
3) Have you tried just replacing the bulbs yet?

Sounds like the electrical in your truck is going, and what you see as bright is actually maybe something KICKING IN, giving it enough juice and then it comes back down... maybe your alternator is going if you have other electrical issues

All stock lighting. No aftermarket equipment except a remote start. Bought truck from my brother, he had it put in a long time ago.

Hmm not sure... I'd have the electrical tested... have someone test the battery.

Check plugs for corrosion. Usually with a little corrosion it will act this way. It you find it and can clean it up us some dielectric grease in the plugs when reconnecting to help connection and prevent corrosion.
