Well i do what i can on my truck. i work on a pretty big airplane for a living o yeah then i have to get in it and fly after i fix it, so i think i got the basic car stuff down. Like a lot of you guys i was taught when i was a kid cause i actually enjoyed working on vehicles. i have done bigger things like lift kits and lowering kits as well. Before i joined the navy and while i was in high school i worked at auto shops like jiffy lube and goodyear mechanic shops. I learned a lot and i messed up a lot. but hey you live and learn right. I will not install my lift cause there is a little bit of cutting, welding, and drilling involved. the reason i wont install it is cause i have done a lift before like i stated earlier and it didnt go so well. It was a jeep rubicon with a long arm lift if you are wondering. Im not about to cut up a $40k plus truck and have a big oops on my hands then what. If the shop that installs the lift has a big oops then they will have to fix it. if it was all a direct bolt up kit then it would be alot easier but its not so i will save the grief and spend a little money to get it right. Just my 0.02.
