Florida is almost as bad as California with it's screwed up laws.

I never understood how people could pretend to be serious while asking how a readily accessible gun with a loaded magazine inserted could be useful, especially when the context is seated in your vehicle.

The gun magnets that don't cover the trigger guard...you carry chambered with that and I think you're going backwards on the whole personal safety thing.

At any rate, ready access to a pistol with a loaded magazine inserted, even empty chamber (let's call it Condition 2) is a pretty damn nice thing. Fully loaded C1 in a holster or other device that covers the trigger guard, and on your person, would be more available, but, sometimes people want a little more comfort at the expensive of a touch of speed. Nothing wrong with that choice.

Someone should call PSA and let them know this is incorrectly labeled.

But I digress. Back on track. Make sure to check your local laws. In FL, you can't carry in your vehicle with just a pistol sticking to a magnet. If it's not on your person, it has to be in a snapped holster or pistol type bag with a zipper. Other states are more lienent.
Even the most annoyingly pedantic individuals I have ever found will use terms like "manual safety" as opposed to "safety" when talking about something like a Glock with no thumb (or other manually engaged and not on the trigger face) safety...but never does a trigger guard get talked about as a safety.

Never have I ever in 15+ years of pistols heard somebody refer to a trigger guard as a safety lol that is a new one

He only said it was a “safety” component, which it is. Safety in quotations.

This thread is about to derail. Get back on subject.

In Fla, you can with a CCW, carry a gun anyway you want to inside your car. Yes even stuck to a magnet. Without a CCW it must be locked or holstered.

For anyone who feels the need to carry something like that chambered, there are options similar to this:
Amazon Amazon

That's certainly the safest way to carry, and probably what Sig recommends, if you read the owner's manual. It's what Glock recommends.

Those are commonly available on Amazon, ebay, etc.

Amazon Amazon

I have this on both of my carry guns:

Amazon Amazon

Hence the empty chambers.

I guess you're too young to have carried, fired, owned, or even seen a gun withOUT a trigger guard. They exist.

No, they really don't.

Carrying a pistol in a secured holster that covers the trigger guard is the generally accepted "best" way to carry, and manufacturers do not recommending carrying a holstered pistol on an empty chamber.

Manufacturers' lawyers will recommend keeping a gun unloaded when not in use, but, carrying a holstered pistol for self defense...that pistol is in fact in use at that time
