Question Good chip module???

Hey everyone I am wondering if anyone knows if this is a legitimate item to consider for my truck?
As always any advice is muck appreciated.

How many versions of the scam are there. This device is nothing but a 70 cent resistor stuck in a plastic box so you can't see what is there. This resister fools the engine control unit into thinking the engine is cold thus dumping more fuel into the engine. All of the claims for this device are a complete
fabrication in order to take your money.

Glad to help, you can get more HP by changing to a synthetic oil, and make your engine last longer in the deal.
