I ended up paying $1750 at 4wheelparts and they rebuilt my axles, but i got a discount for being an EMT. You can get a duscount if your military, fire, ems, or police there.

Wow your guys shops are expensive!!

When I did mine I ordered through a buddys store locally and got a local shop to install them:

I also added an Eaton E-locker for the front 8.8 diff which was $850 and a rear 9.75 Eaton Tru Trac which was another $750...

Yukon 4.56 front and rear - $550
Install front gears and e-locker - $350
Install rear gears and tru trac - $250

* Shop owner then bought my old 3.73s for $200. Total install cost was $400.

total cost for gears and labor - $950
total cost for gears/diffs/labor - .......$3150

I have 4.56's for my 35's.

Parts and labor at 4WheelParts was about $1300 out the door for 4wd, half of that for 2wd.

This is the biggest recommendation I would make to people who invest their money into a nice lift and big tires. It saves your tranny from the added stress caused by the bigger, heavier tires.

What gears did you decide on? I am looking at gears as well but I don't do mudding and tow about 10-12 times a year... IMO if they made them in reverse gears the 4.30 would be the route to go.. I'm debating 4.11 but that's not really any gains coming from 3.73 and 4.56 would be to much....
