good man... how hard is it to gut them? i havent been under that part of my truck in awhile.. plus never paid any attention lol

I don't think it will be too hard. I'm not going to cut them off at all because there is very little piping between the front and rear cats, so I can't put a clamp in there, and I don't have a welder.

I'm just going to cut the pipe behind them (for better access), pull out the O2 sensors (so I don't damage them), and then take a large drill bit, and a screw driver, or other blunt object to the insides.

Once I've demolished the insides to my satisfaction I'll start the truck up and blow out all of the pieces, and tada! gutted rear cats.

Then I'll just clamp on the rest of the exhaust system and I'm done!

nice i gutted the cat in my toyota but it was also a flange style one...
