Default Fuel fix??

I heard of this stuff called fuel fix, you mix it with 15 gallons of gas and it's suppose to dissolve all the ethanol in the gas. Has anyone used it if so does it work?

To get the ethanol out of the gas I put in my truck b/c they are putting more in the gas. I can already tell it's making my truck run bad

Typically, gas stations run higher ethanol in the winters than summer. So if you are just experiencing the issue now, being June, I'd say it's something other than the Ethanol since we are running the summer blend currently.

My 2006 F150 is FFV and runs perfectly fine on our 10% ethanol blend. Heck, I've run it on E85 many times, and while it does bring home worse mpgs, the motor actually seems to perform better. Heck, since you have a 2010, if it is FFV, you'd see better performance with ethonal and E85 than without.

What type of mpgs are you getting? My first guess is it's not the fuel causing the drop. If it is the fuel, maybe shop around at a few different stations for your fuel and find the best for your truck.
