Default Fuel additives?

Got a 2016,5.0 would it be advantagous to add a fuel additive every once in a while to keep injectors and things clean or is it a waste of money?

Discussed many times. Read your manual. Ford recommends you NOT use them.

Just use top tier fuel [not referring to octane] it has all the detergent you need.

Rather than wasting money I would recommend reading your owners manual.

Wow. such haters.

Techron/PEA based stuff works really well, works best with a lot of soak time & heat cycles (not a road trip). Almost required to have a shot of getting the 3v spark plugs out.

Best thing is to keep your fuel filter changed often.

He has a 16 which means plugs are not an issue and fuel filter is lifetime.

I agree, stick with additives containing PEA. Techron or Gumout Regane for me.
