Just went to try this, but because Im only using a cheap Chinese elm327 I do not have the IPC option.

On forscan in there how to section they have how to add a switch

If you do the mod or are able to access IPC with another adapter you may want to also set this: 720-04-02 5553 00D5

Yours probably shows 720-04-02 4341 00B1 and like I already posted, I believe the 4341 part denotes a Canadian build whereas the 5553 denotes a U.S. build

Well if you do decide to get a different adapter down the road, this bluetooth one works great with the mod:

I've ordered a wired ELM327 that Ill be able to mod on ebay, ships from the US so hopefully it doesnt take too long.

How do you input a change without a write button? Trying to get ACC to stay active when 0 mph reached and maybe get restart when vehicle ahead moves. Not to smart need lots of help. Thanks
