If it others don't look not as if it is a show truck. Enjoy the truck and don't worry about it many year's of service left.

Yes. I put expensive Dynomax muffler on mine and didn't make it three months until it looked that way. It's the nature of steel.

Is no one going to comment on how his driveshaft isn't just as brown? Like almost all of ours since he day we bought it?

I think the driveshaft he has is aluminum. Mine is aluminum as well. But his rear axle looks like the most of us. 3wks ago I cleaned and sprayed the axle with rustoleum. $6 can and 2hrs later it's nice and black. I know it's just surface rust and has no performance impact but it was an eyesore. Also sprayed the trailer hitch. The safety chains scratched up the paint causing the hitch to start rusting.

As for the OP, my brother had outlaws on his mustang and in less than a year and it looked just like yours. He just switched to Corsa because the outlaws droned too much. The Corsa sounds a lot better outside and has ZERO drone inside. Amazing.

I can confirm Corsa's have ZERO drone. I had them on my 07' GT/CS, and my buddy had them on his 16' GT performance pack. They're so loud if you jump on it, but dead silent when cruising.

Some people's children, what is the big deal with how your exhaust looks, is it there does it do its job.? Heat and dampness will do that. Wish that was all I had to worry about.

Some peoples' children? When I spend $750 on a product and it's only been on for roughly six months, then yeah I'm going to be a little upset if it looks like that, even if it's structurally sound and in tact and performs as should. Sucks that you have more problems than me though. Don't know what to tell you on that one.

My Delta 50 looked the same a couple months after being put on. I sprayed reformer on it, let it burn off, then hit it with high temp grill paint. I know it's just surface rust but I wanted it to not look terrible immediately.

Not to pile on the OP, but I found the info below in less than 2 minutes. Google is your friend, use it.

https://www.maperformance.com/blogs/...-these-details

Then you could have been warned by this little paragraph.

The most frequently used stainless steel in performance exhaust systems is T409. Usually found in Flowmaster, Invidia, and many other aftermarket stainless mufflers and catbacks, this mixture does not contain enough chromium to resist corrosion in cold-weather states, or areas where salted roads aid corrosion development. T409 has a chromium content of 10.50% to 11.75% while its nickel content is only 0.50%.
Research never hurts, lesson learned.

Well, looks like this one is on me. Does anyone know what type of stainless steel borla exhausts use? I know it's not the 409 but I can't remember what the other type is called.
