Default Floor Jack storage

Morning. New here. Just picked up a 2018 F150 crew cab and was curious if and how people store 3 ton floor jacks in the cab. Anyone keep it under the back seat and what do you use to keep it from rolling around?

Thanks.

Mine is on a simple skid the bed. Will add a photo later, (it’s buried under a load of stuff presently).

I keep heavy stuff in the bed. Too worried about it flying around the cab in a wreck, and beating up occupants.

Probably could find a way to strap it down under a rear seat though.

Pictures added:
Sitting on simple wooden skid

Bottom view. Tag line helps pull it out when shoved forward.

Handle secured under tonneau with fist grips attached with threadserts.

I put mine in my rear-bed swinging toolbox...along with all other 'towing' stuff. Keeps it in one spot and out of the cab.

I keep mine in a container in the box along with ratchet and recovery straps ... and breaker bar and lug impact socket.

I have a 1.5 ton roller jack in it's box in the bottom of a big plastic storage box strapped to the front wall of the bed, there are flares, work gloves, emergency blankets, a couple extra ratchet straps, some rope, small tool kit, and a lug wrench in there too. I have a boxed 3 ton jack-jackstand combination jack strapped in the bed beside it, I have OEM jack under the rear seat in the stock location in my '07. I have a 4x4 that's 4 feet long across the front orf my bed. I have no desire to carry a heavy 3 ton roller jack too, those have a home in my shop.

I keep mine in the truck’s tool box. I had to make a wood liner for it as the edges ended up cutting through the tool box.

@Barry_Vee maybe I'm missing something, but in a wreck, what's stopping that jack from flying through the rear wall (and the rear seat, front seat, and possibly windshield)? that blue string?

Yup. And by the time it fly’s through followed by the tailgate I won’t care.
