Default Finding a switched wire ... at wits end

I have a 2004 supercab Lariat and I'm trying to install a backup camera. Bought one on Amazon and the directions are pretty straight forward. Red wire to switched hot, blue wire to reverse circuit, and black to ground. I've been working on my own vehicles for over 45 years and used to be when you needed a switched hot line (goes on and off with the key) you could lay on the floor and reach under the dash with a test light and start poking wires till you found one that was switched.

So herein lies the problem.... I've spent the better part of 3 hours checking wires with my Fluke meter and I'll be danged if I can find a switched wire with 12 volts in it. Every wire I find with 12v stays hot when the key is turned off. I started out trying one of those "Add-a-fuse" things but my fuse box is arranged in such a way that the adapter simply will not fit. It hits the fuse above or below and wont push in far enough to engage the prongs.

This thing is frustrating the heck out of me. Any help out there to help this old man before I really lose it?

This site requires an e-mail, but it doesn't have to be your real one:

Switch to WIRING DIAGRAM when you see that button.
