Probably only if they can prove the oil you used caused the/a problem.
Something wrong with the oil Ford recommends? Are other oils cheaper?

From my Owners Manual:
There's nothing wrong with running a different motor oil as long as it's got that API mark, and I'd venture to say just about any oil made for gasoline automotive engines will have that mark. I'd rather pay a tad more and run full synthetic, but I've found it's easy to find the full synthetics on sale from the big guys (Mobil, Pennzoil, Valvoline, Quaker, Castol) for about the same or even less than the Motocraft synthetic blend.
Since the owners manual does spec a synthetic blend or full synthetic, they would have an argument against covering it under warranty if you used dino oil and there was an engine failure. Even then though, they'd had to prove the failure was due to the oil and you could request a vial of the engine oil to do your own independent testing with Blackstone Labs.
The design of your engine allows for the use of Motorcraft engine oils or equivalent oils
that meet Ford specifications. It is also acceptable to use an engine oil of recommended
viscosity grade that meets API SN requirements and displays the API certification mark
for gasoline engines.
