UWS (United Welding Supply) makes the best looking flush-mount (Low Profile) toolboxes. Even came with a 1 or 5 year warranty. Black or Chrome.

Got my black, low-profile one for $375 plus installation and warranty. That's crazy.

I got my UWS toolbox from Car-Mic for Under $300. My toolbox is not low profile or black but I know they are both offered.

Just a thought... have you considered a "utility chest" rather than a cross over box? Always been a black diamond plate fan too, but this one came on my truck and I've come to like it. At first glance, you wouldn't even know there was a tool box in the bed.... so silver/ black doesn't really matter. Just can't slide anything under it... but it's definitely low profile.

Most places these days have a site-to-store feature that is free shipping to have the item delivered to your local store for you to pick-up.

Thanks guys! I just got home from pepboys ordering my new dz8560b. My plan is to put a tonneau cover over the bed. It should be here in a week. How do these things mount??
