Camber/caster adjustments are easier with the kit, but it is not required. The adjustments can be made using ratchet straps on the lower control arms. Two alignments on my truck and it has worked fine, but an alignment tech who spends the extra time is hard to find.

The procedure for a 2016 is attached and it should be similar to your truck as far as LCA adjustments. See the chart on page 7.
