Talking

-What year/motor?
04 5.4 Triton

-What system?
Gibson cat back dual

-How does it sound?
only 8db louder than stock at idle, no louder in cab, growls nice when accelerating

-How does it fit?
went in easy

-How much did it cost?
$225 with shipping...normally $400ish + shipping

-Where does it exit?
out the back

-What diameter pipe?
2.5"

-Stock cats?
yes

-How does it look?
sweet...tips jet coated

-Are you happy with it?
love it

-Comments
I was never looking for loud, just performance.

-Would you change anything?
When installing, I saw how easy it would've been to go with a true dual.

-What year/motor?
2006 5.4
-What system?
Gibson supertruck all stainless
-How does it sound?
Nice rumble at idle, loud enough to turn heads when you stomp on it.
-How does it fit?
Hangs from the stock exhaust's grommets. Had to replace the stock clamp where the new exhaust went in cuz it didn't hold worth a dam
-How much did it cost?
~$330
-Where does it exit?
Passenger side, in front of the rear wheel.
-What diameter pipe?
2.5"
-Stock cats?
Yes
-How does it look?
Good when it's clean lol
-Are you happy with it?
Love the sound but if the rear tire throws mud and water on the tips and since they're rectangle tips it just sits there. The tips heat up and the water evaporates leaving them very dirty most of the time.

Probably going to a rear exit dual setup. This exhaust was probably not meant for lifted trucks.

-What year/motor?
2007/4.6 v8
-What system?

was single in dual out flowmaster 40, now cut out muffler and put y pipe in
-How does it sound?
super 40 was nice rumble at idle and throaty when u roamped it but all around not loud enough (for me at least)
-How does it fit?
very nice, had custom job from lou's custom exhaust shop in brockton, mass
-How much did it cost?
$420 for single in dual out super 40 origanaly (same price as mail order kit but with life time warranty for defects) and $100 to cut out muffler and put y pipe in (swindled them down from $150 to $100)
-Where does it exit?
doual out rear at 45 degree angle
-What diameter pipe?
2.5"
-Stock cats?
yes unfortunatley
-How does it look?
very nice, black tips
-Are you happy with it?
for most part
-Comments
love how loud it is just want it toned more
-Would you change anything?
either throw on a pair of high performance headers, cut the cats and go into flows or corsa mufflers or put high performace headers on keep stock cats and make it true dual straight pipe instead of y pipe and put bigger tips.

-What year/motor? 97 4.6liter v8

-What system? 40 series flowmaster

-How does it sound? badass

-How does it fit? perfect

-How much did it cost? 150 installed

-Where does it exit? side stock location

-What diameter pipe? stock

-Stock cats? yes

-How does it look? its just the muffler only so you cant see it

-Are you happy with it? it is exactly what i wanted.

-Comments i like this muffler. in town its not too much louder than the stock. when i get into the throttle, it sounds nice and clean with no rapping. cruising at freeway speed, i dont even hear it, its just as quiet as the stock muffler.

-Would you change anything? the only thing i would change about my exhaust system is to go dual exhaust out the back with chrome tips but this is just fine for me for now
