ive heard magnaflow r realy good and like $100 each . i have headman headers there all right for about $350-$400 . look into dynomax headers and if you get new exhaust look in to borla or magnaflow for low tone kinda hotrodish flowmaster have kind of a more drag car sound. if you want loud loud go with true duals with good glass pacs

 

putting the chip on also gives it a meaner sound kinda like going from 2barrel to 4 barrel

 

ps you will mainly get sound vs power from headers. my shop teacher from high school spent his time and $800 on headers for his gto and only gained 1horse power it might be different if you were to put a super charger or turbo also look in to hooker headers and they have sic exhaust tips for the same price as simple chrome ones. ime in bozeman montana so lift laws and other things are relaxed

 

I just did a whole project truck that needs to meet cali emmisions and we ran an AirAid Intake, PowerAid TB Spacer, JBA shorty headers, and JBA catback exhaust with a superchips programmer and it runs and sounds great....if you want a great setup that is emission legal, there you go...
