Not sure if it's the same thing or not, but mine did a weird thing today for the first time ever. Went to start the truck, it seemed like it wanted to start, shuddered and died. Went to restart it, gave another slight shudder and then turned over. Ran fine, no issues, but truck had never had any issues starting right up in the past. Thoughts?

 

To be honest that sounds like a fuel issue wxmcpo. I'm sure you're going to monitor and see if it does in the future right?? Sound like it could be a dirty fuel filter.

 

Oh I definitely will be monitoring it. I just filled up the tank last night at a gas station I have never used before and the truck has it's little hiccup this morning. I have drove the truck a couple other times today and have had zero issues though, but I will definitely be keeping my eye out for any further issues.

 

Mine has done that twice.....I agree with Triton on the fuel issue. It is when all this pinging started too with this crappy gas we get from Cali.
