I happen to be an asst. Chief in the fire service and wanted to give you a little advice. 360 degree warning doesn't mean you have to have lights on all sides of your vehicle. It means your lights must be visible for 360 degrees. In other words if you have lights front and rear then they must also be visible from the sides just like your hazard lights can be seen from the sides. If you want to put lights all around then have at it but just know it's not needed.
Thanks guys. I appreciate the advice. I think im gonna get a Vangaurd 5000 46" Bar (Which has a traffic advisor because I will be fire police as well) and 2 Whelen TIR 6's in my grille and possibly some Whelen Vertex's in my tail lights. I know it sounds like overkill but alot of our Dept's MVA's are on busy interstates so lighting is important especially at night. What do you guys think?
What I don't get is how your new to the dept and getting lights. Good on ya but I was a rookie for almost 2 years before I could get lights. I just have headlight and tail light green strobes. Honestly nothing works where I live, no body gets outta the way. Post some pics of whatever u get though as I'm always looking to upgrade.
if it was me i would get something like http://www.buyautotruckaccessories.c...FcYE2god0Cf5Yg this to mount my lights and a siren to.
