Hey, is there anyway to stop the email notifications from coming to my email address everytime someone replies to one of my posts?

Change the subscription notification frequency for newly subscribed threads in your user cp.

From: Wal-Mart, Women's section.

Click on User CP, Edit Options, then under Default Thread Subscription Mode select No Email Notification. That should work for ya.
