Default Where to find...

New to the site and wasn't sure where to post this. Anyways, picked up a bed extender for my '98 F-150 for $10.00. The problem is, the guy lost the mounting hardware for it. Bought it anyways...figure for 10 bucks, what the heck, shouldn't be to difficult to find hardware for it. Guess I was wrong on that. Any one know where I can get just the mounting hardware at or is that not possible??

Thanks guys.

you could go to a dealer and see if they carry them. It will probably be pricey but hey its worth it especially because you got such a good deal on the extender. I have no idea how you would make your own mounting kit without it being pretty crappy, that seems like a pretty specialized part.

Already tried the dealership...well, the Mercury dealership (we don't / won't have another Ford dealership here until March) and they said they can only get the nut for a bed extender...and not the pivot bolts.

try to find a local aftermarket truck shop, like a 4x4 outfitter. They will probably sell bed extenders and should be able to get you the replacement hardware. Good luck.
