Yes even up here in Canada the first couple days of snowfall can be a little nerve wracking. So I have seen alot of advice on here that is good. Go slower,keep your distance, stay off the brakes as much as possible, use the snow beside the ruts for traction.
One guy here likened it to walking carefully on eggshells. If you just keep and practice alot of the advice given here you will find that driving in these conditions becomes second nature. Almost to the point that you dont even think about it.
