Im thinking a heat gun.. like taking decals off.. just get it hot enough to peel off then youll have to use some kind of solevent to remove the rest of the sticky stuff left on it

This is how I would do it. Be careful not to get the paint to hot.

if it's put on with double sided tape use a peice of fishing line to "cut" the tape, then use goo-be-gone or whatever it's called to remove the adhesive, would be safer than heat for your paint and the line want hurt the paint.

So, this qualifies as an emergency, huh? Over-dramatize much? Use more appropriate thread titles, don't be a tool.

I would use a combo of heating it a bit with a hair dryer, cutting the tape with fishing line, then using Goo-Gone to clean off the residue.

Yes, over-dramatizing a simple 'problem' to garner attention like a drama queen is toolish behavior. Sorry if you take offense to that, but it's the truth. Doesn't mean you are a tool, but first impressions are a bitch. Now, that being said, I hope you enjoy your time here and find the answers you need. If I can help you out, I certainly will.
