Door handle from chrome to matte black
Hello all
New to the site. Just wanted to share with everyone a video I made not the removal and reinstallation of the exterior door handles. I really like the look and the overall process was simple. Here is the video.

Love the video, I wonder how well a paint designed to be peeled off will hold up to being handled. I would think doing a light "sand" with steel wool, then using a mat black epoxy would last longer.
Next you need to do the running boards ... that would finish the look, which I love.

Note, the key to making it "easily" peelable is to ensure you get a thick coat on the item. You want to lay down several coats to ensure you have a nice heavy coat. If you have a thin covering, it will be a pain to peel.
Google Fonzie Plasti Dip if you want to see some pretty serious projects.

You might find some on ebay. I know I bought covers off ebay, and a buddy at a body shop shot then and some other stuff.
