Does The SYNC System Play FLAC Files?

Or do I have to convert them to MP3? I know it is a dumb question. Just trying to save some time by not having to convert if I don't have to. Thanks.

When I tried playing FLAC off of a USB drive it did not work, I had to convert everything to 320kbps MP3.

I just wanted to build off of your answer a bit. SYNC is compatible with MP3, AAC, WMA, and WAV file formats.

I got a bunch of music on a USB Flash drive and was hoping I could use FLAC for the better dynamic range. I guess I will be sticking to MP3.
