Do I need to adjust my headlights higher?
Did you come from Halogens? If so remember they cast a higher percentage of light up from your cutoff line. HID's and LEDs are more intense and they are designed to not cast as much up so they have a more defined cutoff.
I went threw my neighborhood at night found some small cars that were parked behind them at about 20 feet then closer as if i was pulling up to them at a stop sign and adjusted my HID's so I was not blinding them in their mirrors.

Do you have someone at your house or a neighbor that has a car? If you do, pull up so you're at about your normal stopping distance at a street light, maybe a bit further than normal then adjust them so they don't go over the trunk. My stock LEDs sit about an inch under MOST sedan's (top of the) trunk. That height is actually really good for visibility too, too high and in the dark without other cars there is not much light reflecting back at you, too low and you can't see things in front of you.

aventusman did you use Morimoto LED bulbs in a stock housing? If so you may need to "clock the bulb" in the housing so the LED chips shine horizontally. KM

There is a bunch of variance in replacement LED's. The better designed LED's have as sharp and accurate a cut-off as the incandescent bulbs being replaced. The cut-off is controlled in the reflector housing not the bulb, but the housing needs precise placement of the light source to work right.

seeing his cut off line I'm assuming he replaced the housing, if he didn't that cutoff line is even more impressive.

My new ANZO's were pointing down very close to the truck. Was not safe to drive more than 25 mph. You just could not see anything beyond that cutoff line. Had to do a lot of cranking to get them up to where they were safe to drive. I have checked them with other random cars and have not been flashed yet. I have HID's for dim and LED for bright. When they come on it is a blaze of light out there. Very nice.
