Trying to, first time ever, to diagnose my moon roof popping and then totally not working I had the front glass out. Tinkering around I messed with this tiny, tiny black bushing type thingy. It slides right off and greased. Anyway, I LOST IT. Does anyone know what it's called and how to get one? I ordered a new track but looks as if there is more to it.

What year truck? I'd recommend going to Tasca, looking up their diagrams and finding the P/N.

I've researched a little trying to guess names of the part. I want to say it was a drop rail assembly????
The piece I lost is about 1/4" w X 1/4" diameter with maybe a 1/8" hole for it to slide on. And plastic. Don't know the operation it does but I do see where it will roll and drop in a slot. Maybe vent mode..
Just as a reminder. I've never dealt with these and I've seen repair cost at a dealership. I'm going head first into it myself 🤞
