Default confused mpg question

ok my speedo is off at about 4 to 5 miles ,due to my oversize tires.
so when im going 55 on the speedo im actually going 60.

does that mean that my millage on the odemetor is off
lets say i get like 260 tops on full tank is it more or less.

or am i just mumbling here

According one calc I found my speedo is 9.182% slower than if I had stock tires. The calc says that if my speedo reads 60 I'm actually doing 54.9. If I'm thinking of it correctly that means that if I travel for an hour at that speed I will have covered 60 miles while my ODO will only record 54. So that would mean that I should up the number of miles I've covered when I calculate my mileage.

Your dealership should be able to recalibrate your speedo and adjust your shift points for you. Mine was going to charge me $80 when I lifted and added the larger tires.

Will a tuner do this for you also?
