Default clutch help for this new gal??

Ok guys...I am new here and need help...any offers? I need to know where the bleeder screw is located on my F150 truck..96 6 cylinder. I had problems with the clutch, the clutch would go all the way to the floor and had to grind...only till I got it back home, the gears to get it moving...a nightmare! Anyway..replaced the master cylinder per instruction, but the clutch pedal still stick to the floor..so I need to bleed the line? Where is the screw located? I tried the other methods described here on the forum, and the pedal still sticks? Is there something else that I am missing? Thanks...Gypsy

The bleeder screw is through a hole in the bellhousing near where the line goes into the bellhousing.

Ok..new twist to my problem..got that taken care of..thanks by the way, and took it for a test drive. Did ok for 8 miles, then it started the problem again. Stopped it, took the cap off, and the diaphram out, pumped the clutch a few times and put everything back together..did ok for a spell, now it will shift ok, when it is moving..but not from a standstill..any ideas? gypsy

Default bleed

bleed it better pulling the pedal up fast with your hand. or press it down, and slide foot off to let it pop back up,

Read this thread about bleeding the clutch and see if it helps:

Check the bellhousing for fluid leaking, if it is then you will need to change the slave cylinder too.

I have had that issue before in a Manual transmission vehicle. It was the slave cylinder that was the root cause of the problem.

Thanks for the help guys...I live down a very bumpy road, and yesterday, after rebleeding it, I was ok just puttin around the yard. By the time I got to the blacktop road, 1 mile away, it was mushy again. I took a look at there was froth in the diaphram. So I pumped on the clutch hard again and put the unit back together...so far so good. I drove it to work and back without any trouble..round trip of 50 miles...so I have my fingers crossed...thanks again...I have other issues with this truck and as soon as I get a minute I will be asking questions...this truck has almost 400,000 miles on it..yeah, been around for a while...Gypsy
